Job Description:
Primary Responsibility
Under the general supervision of the Campus Access Coordinator, the Access Services test proctor is responsible for the administration and test security procedures for students who have been approved for learning and testing accommodations utilizing numerous approved methods. This is a part-time position which is limited to no more than 28 hours per CMC’s workweek. CMC’s workweek is Saturday through Friday.
Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards)
Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples may include: Associate’s Degree or two-year college certificate, vocational school or technical program beyond high school, business college or similar training efforts and 1-year related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 2 years related work experience. Or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the functions of the position.
Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position with knowledge of a variety of standard administrative and business methods and procedures; standard Microsoft Office software.
Ability to: read, write, speak, and understand English well; operate variety of office equipment; proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and electronic mail; monitor details and follow written directions; meet deadlines; strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Provide administrative support to the Access Coordinator as needed, including successful use of Accommodate Management software.

The hiring pay rate is $ 27.28 per hour. Benefits include retirement contribution, annual and sick time, mental health resources, and tuition benefit. CMC utilizes a wage progression compensation model that accounts for a candidate’s skill and experience. Although a hiring rate is listed, this will be set commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act .

- Verifying student identity, supervising the testing environment
per faculty/test requirements, maintaining the security of the
