Participate in developing tutoring resource materials when required. Attend tutor training sessions as available. Maintain student tutoring records. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education Associate's degree required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred. Experience If degree is not in content area, relevant work experience in related field is required. Experience in a customer facing role required. Experience in K-12 education acceptable, post-secondary tutoring preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to provide quality customer service. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain positive learning environments for students and collaborative relationships with colleagues. Incumbent must be mindful of and develop solutions that can accommodate all individuals to use GCC facilities without barriers, both digitally and physically. Additional Information: Tutor positions are temporary, part-time and assigned on a semester basis as needed. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
