The School of Medicine Dentistry & Nursing is renowned for pioneering teaching methods and superb facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate study. The School is also recognised for innovative and distinctive basic science, translational and clinical research programmes in medicine, dentistry, nursing and healthcare based on interdisciplinary and a multiprofessional approach. It has a long history of teaching excellence and accomplishment:

Standard Terms and Conditions

The substative professorial employment contract full time and open-ended (permanent).

Where relevant, the employment contract will include an Honorary contract with an appropriate NHS partner organisation to facilitate clinical contributions.

Individuals are appointed to the role of Head of School for a period of four years in the first instance. Subject to satisfactory performance, appointments may be renewed on a mutually agreeable basis, normally for a further two years.

The University will provide relocation assistance where appropriate.
