The Department of English Language and Literature invites applications for the post of full-time Professor, Associate or Assistant Professor. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in English specializing in literature, linguistics or a related field and demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels while pursuing an active research agenda. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in research postgraduate supervision. Successful candidates may also be asked to contribute to the teaching of academic literacy. Preference will be given to applicants with substantial tertiary level teaching experience and an established track record in research and publication.
