Description

Inaugurated in December 2010, the Institute for Social and Cultural Research is the scholastic center of the university. It rises as a nexus of communication and cooperation with academic institutions in Macau and in various regions of the world. Our institute hosts brand research projects and highlights quality lecture series. It has built itself into a unique platform for humanity and social sciences studies.

To cope with our developmental plan, applications are invited from those with excellent academic achievements in the following areas:

Professional Areas

1. International Relations, Research on Sustainable Economic and Social Development of Macao, Research on Macao's Participation in the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
2. History (Macao History), International Relations (Sino-Western Cultural Communication and Exchange)

Qualifications

1. An earned Doctorate Degree in related discipline; Proven 1 year and above post-doctoral research work or university teaching experience in related disciplines; Proven experience in participating in 3 or more academic research projects or research funding; Proven experience in Macao public policy and Macao's participation in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and have published 5 or more representative papers.
2. An earned Doctorate Degree in related discipline; Proven university teaching experience or experience in participating in 3 or more academic research projects or research funding in related fields; Proven research experience in Chinese history, Macao history, and Sino-Western Cultural Communication and Exchange, and has published 5 or more representative papers.

Remuneration Package

Remuneration and appointment rank offered will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification, professional experience and current position. Medical benefits, annual leave, provident fund, allowance and bonus, on job training program or overseas study opportunities will be provided by the University.
