We are looking to develop further our maritime engineering expertise with a new Professor in Maritime Energy Engineering.   Applications are encouraged from candidates from all aspects of maritime energy engineering, covering experimental, theoretical or computational modelling research in offshore energy.

The successful candidate will be an excellent researcher with ambitious future research plans who has an established track record of successful academic endeavour. Experience of working in or with the maritime energy engineering industry would be a benefit but is not essential.

Interviews and presentations will take place on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November 2026 at the University of Liverpool.  Please note that we cannot offer an online interview for this post.
