The Department of Economics at the University of Michigan invites applications for a full-time, endowed tenure-track position to begin August 25, 2027. This is a university year appointment and will be at the tenured level of Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in scholarly productivity and impact in Economics. Duties include: teaching and research in Economics, advising students and providing service to the department and university. Ph.D. in Economics or related field required. Research capacity and teaching ability serve as the primary criteria for selection. This position is posted as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications. Employment will require both a successful criminal background check and an institutional reference check regarding any misconduct.
