Professor of Chemical Engineering - Agri-food Processing Engineering

Job Description: The Department of Chemical Engineering has 28 professors and conducts research in areas such as reactor and process engineering, lifecycle analysis, biorefining, tissue engineering, materials and biomaterials, regenerative medicine, biotechnology, and polymers. This position aims to increase the group of professors contributing to research in agri-food processing engineering, focusing on unit operations applied to this field.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching at all levels, supervise students, carry out innovative research projects, obtain grants, publish results, participate in departmental activities, collaborate with other teams, and contribute to the institution's visibility.

Profile and Job Requirements: Candidates must hold a PhD in engineering or a relevant field, have a proven research record, demonstrate excellent teaching skills, contribute positively to the department's environment, be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or take steps to become one, and have sufficient command of French. Assistance will be provided for registration and language learning.
