In order to mitigate barriers, PROUD increases access to treatment services and promotes connection and navigation to certified recovery specialists, social workers, external support systems (education, childcare, transportation, housing, lactation, nutrition, etc.) The Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day coordination of the grant funded work, including oversight of wraparound services during clinic hours, assisting patients with resource referrals, and supporting principal investigators (PIs) with visits. They will provide administrative support to the entire program as well as with community and external partners. The position will work with the PIs and interdisciplinary project team to complete day-to-day grant tasks, including supply management, patient and team communication, coordination of clinic activities, and funder-related reporting requirements.
The position will have the day-to-day responsibilities directed by the principal investigator (PI). Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), the ability to manage multiple competing timelines and directives, and strong organization and coordination skills. Familiarity with academic medicine, institutional review boards, and federal grants, is a plus. The position is contingent upon future funding.
Responsibilities:
- Work with PI and team during clinic hours to assist with patient communication, visit scheduling, resource connection, group facilitation and task delegation.
- Maintain patient communication outside of clinic hours to assist with resource referral, scheduling, programmatic questions, and follow up appointments.
- Attend all team meetings, partner meetings and trainings, and provide updates to funder on work being accomplished.
- Ensure 360 communication with team around patient needs, tracking referrals for external resources, and ensuring follow up around patient needs is completed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
