Additional Posting Information:
The position serves as critical support staff for several Office of
Student Affairs (OSA) positions and programming, such as bar-prep,
academic success, exams, and data tracking. The position also
assists with intake (phone and email) for all internal and external
inquiries submitted to OSA and directs those inquiries to the
appropriate personnel within OSA.
The position has interfacing with students and some faculty and may
engage with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, UH departments,
etc.) to assist with departmental needs and programming.
The position can expect to assist with or manage the below
activities/responsibilities, so experience in any of these areas
will be considered as job-related experience:
- Managing complex data spreadsheets;
- Assisting with student data tracking;
- Serving as administrative support for the Law Center’s bar-prep
and academic success programs;
- Completing graduation audits, graduation certifications, and bar
certifications;
- Maintaining digital student records, including student data
requests and petitions;
- Managing student final exams, including scheduling and proctoring
exams;
- Assisting with other departmental operations and events;
and
- Customer service
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both
theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or
professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one
professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally
obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from
a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized
training program that is directly related to the type of work being
performed. Experience: No experience required.
