Job Description:

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, student-focused Postgraduate Program Advisor locally know as Program Services and Support Officer to support the delivery of the MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MFIM (Master of Finance and Investment Management). The role involves managing enrolments, supporting student progression, assisting with program operations, and contributing to marketing and engagement activities in a dynamic academic environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support for the MBA and MFIM programs, including applications, enrolment, progression, timetabling, assessments, fees, and graduation.
  • Advise and support current and prospective students, respond to enquiries, support intervention processes, and promote the programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting, contribute to marketing and engagement activities, and undertake other administrative duties as required.
  • Attend and participate in MBA and MFIM events, including information evenings to promote the programs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Strong customer service experience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • High-level computer skills, particularly with databases and software applications.
  • Knowledge of university systems, policies, and programs, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications and a criminal history check. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.

You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
