The opportunity

University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking for an experienced administrator to provide administrative and customer service support across a portfolio of courses in the School of Art, based at Camberwell College of Arts (Peckham Road).

As part of our Academic Registry team, you will make a valuable contribution to the delivery of high-quality experiences for staff and students, through the provision of a variety of information and support services.

This will involve undertaking a range of administrative responsibilities, including:

  • Responding to student queries and course enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate student records
  • Monitoring student attendance
  • Overseeing online assessment submission, student feedback and results
  • Servicing and clerking formal committees

About you

Educated to A Level (or with equivalent relevant experience), you will possess significant administrative experience, preferably gained within Higher or Further Education. In addition to this, you will need experience of clerking and minute writing at meetings, as well as using databases and Microsoft Office applications.

You are highly organised and a skilled problem solver, with plenty of initiative. Crucially, you are a naturally collaborative, supportive and customer-focused individual, with strong communication skills both in person and in writing.
