About the Role
The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, is seeking an experienced Programmes Officer (Maternity Cover) to provide a professional, student-focused administrative service to our academic faculty and to support students throughout their academic journey - from registration through to the conclusion of Examination Board business.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of our programmes, working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams to ensure high-quality experience for students.
As a Programmes Officer, you will be at the heart of the school’s academic operations, supporting a portfolio of programmes and working closely with academic staff, the Academic Registry and other departments.
What we are looking for
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working in a Higher Education environment, preferably within academic administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of building strong working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues, being an excellent team player and the ability to deliver a high level of customer care to all stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise effectively to meet a large and varied workload from several stakeholders.
- Good initiative and problem-solving skills, with a flair of creativity.
- The ability to work with efficiency and accuracy even under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Passion for the work of the organisation and a commitment to placing students at the heart of everything you do.
