About the role

The Faculty of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Project Administrator (Programme Development) to join the project team developing an exciting and innovative 4-year undergraduate Masters Science (MSci) in Medical Science & Innovation programme. The programme is designed to develop future leaders who can translate scientific discovery into real-world health impact.
What you would be doing
You will assist and support the Project Manager with day-to-day project management activities and help monitor progress of the project plan to ensure a successful launch of the programme in October 2027 – within scope, on time, to the required quality and within the budget. You will build and maintain effective working relationships, collaboration and communication with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including schools as part of our outreach activities. You will work collaboratively and pro-actively as part of a team, identity issues and and work with the project team in resolving them efficiently.
What we are looking for
- Educated to a minimum of A level standard or equivalent and/or professional experience related to the work of the post
- Excellent organisation and time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
- Proven experience of supporting complex projects in a higher education, healthcare or public sector environment
- Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes and managing project documentation.
- Experience in analysing project data and presenting insights clearly to inform decision making.
