Job Title: Project Associate, Project Technician, Project Assistant

Title of the Project:

• Monitoring of IWMP watersheds in Tamil Nadu using Remote Sensing Technology, funded by National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), Dept. of Space, GoI.
• Monitoring of NABARD sponsored watersheds using Geo spatial technologies funded by National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), Dept. of Space, GoI.
• Space based Information Support for Decentralised Planning at Panchayat level funded by National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), Dept. of Space, GoI.
• Formation of Geographical Information System (GIS) Cell in the Tamilnadu Disaster Management Agency, funded by Disaster Management Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
• International Conference/Summit of ISDE – Conference Secretariat-funding from Sponsorship Money generated for Conference

Qualifications:

• Project Associate-II: M.E. / MTech. Remote Sensing / Geomatics, Remote Sensing and Geomatics or equivalent. Knowledge in Satellite Image Processing, GIS Analysis. 1 Year experience in LU/LC Mapping is Essential.
• Project Associate-I: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Geo-informatics / Geo-Tech. & Geomatics / Or M.Sc. (Geo-informatics) / Remote Sensing / Computer Science or Equivalent in Remote Sensing and GIS. Relevant experience in Remote Sensing and GIS, Map compilation, documentation and report generation is Desirable.
• Project Technician: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent with remote sensing and GIS knowledge. Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS, Map compilation, documentation and report generation is Desirable.
• Project Assistant: B.Sc./B.Com. Minimum Six Months of Experience of working in Technical/Administrative Position handling Research Projects/ Consultancy is Essential.

Candidate Profile:

• Candidate should complete their UG in relevant specialization with First class.
• Candidate should have good communication skills.
• Commitment towards work.

Pay Scale:

• Project Associate-II: Rs. 25,000/-
• Project Associate-I: Rs. 20,000/-
• Project Technician: Rs. 15,000/-
• Project Assistant: Rs. 12,000/-
