- Base salary will be in the range $117,958 - $132,247 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)

As Project Manager, Clinical Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the Medical School collaborates with its clinical partners, academic titleholders and clinician educators across Queensland and beyond. Working closely with the Deputy Head of School (Clinical Engagement), you will translate strategic priorities into high-impact programs, projects and engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships with Hospital and Health Services, primary care and community providers, and other key stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to lead with influence, improve systems and governance, and enhance communication across large, distributed clinical and academic communities, ensuring partnerships are transparent, effective and mutually beneficial. Key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Project Delivery: Translate the Clinical Engagement Strategy into actionable workplans, managing risks, documentation, reporting and delivery of scalable operational and digital solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Develop and implement integrated communication and engagement initiatives, including onboarding, events, feedback mechanisms and user-centred digital tools.
- Partnership & Governance Optimisation: Support the review and implementation of governance frameworks, clarifying roles and streamlining partnership and engagement workflows through improved systems and processes.
- Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with internal teams and the Deputy Head of School (Clinical Engagement) to enhance clinician experience, workforce development and continuous improvement outcomes.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in health, education, management, or related field; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
- Experience in large, complex health or education environments.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage change initiatives and improve operational processes.
- Knowledge of governance, policy frameworks, and compliance in a university or educational environment.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the design or implementation of communication, engagement, or marketing solutions in complex organisations, including exposure to digital platforms, applications, or technology-enabled communication tools.
- Ability to work effectively with technical specialists (e.g. IT, digital, marketing or external vendors) to translate user needs into practical solutions.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications, criminal history checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
