Summary: The Project Manager, Strategic Planning and Performance supports the execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of NEOMED's strategic priorities by coordinating strategic initiatives, managing assigned project and portfolio activities, administering the University's strategic planning and performance management system, and providing data-driven decision support. Working collaboratively with university leaders, departments, colleges, and external partners, this position monitors strategic performance, facilitates cross-functional initiatives, develops executive reports and dashboards, supports strategic growth and operational excellence efforts, and promotes accountability for strategic outcomes. The role serves as a key liaison and resource within the Strategy Office to advance strategic plan implementation, track progress toward goals and KPIs, identify barriers, and facilitate timely follow-through under the direction of Strategy Office leadership.
Principal Functional Responsibilities: Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management, and Performance Tracking: Coordinate implementation of the University Strategic Plan by monitoring strategic initiatives, action plans, milestones, KPIs, and portfolio performance. Administer and maintain the University's strategic planning and performance management platform (Envisio), ensuring data integrity, system configuration, user support, dashboard development, and performance reporting. Coordinate project activities, monitor deliverables, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and support standardized project management practices across strategic initiatives. Prepare executive dashboards, reports, presentations, and briefing materials that communicate strategic progress, risks, and opportunities and support leadership decision-making.
Strategic Analysis and Organizational Support: Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data related to strategic initiatives, institutional priorities, partnerships, and operational performance. Prepare executive summaries, reports, presentations, and decision-support materials that communicate performance, trends, risks, and opportunities. Support strategic growth and partnership initiatives through market research, benchmarking, environmental scanning, project coordination, and performance analysis. Collaborate with university leaders, departments, colleges, and strategic partners to promote alignment with institutional priorities and support execution of strategic initiatives.
Communications and Continuous Improvement: Coordinate communications supporting the University Strategic Plan, including progress updates, presentations, and stakeholder materials, while ensuring timely dissemination through university communication channels. Promote collaboration and information sharing among the Strategy Office, university stakeholders, and external partners. Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational excellence initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum one year of experience in administrative coordination, strategic planning support, data analysis, process improvement, or a related area
