Position Description
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites applicants for a project scientist in the Gorodetsky Group, at the Assistant level. The position requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. start date is negotiable. The initial appointments would be for one year, with the possibility of extension, depending on performance and completion of programmatic objectives and milestones.
The position requires a conferred PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Expertise with the high throughput fabrication and characterization of organic electronic or bioelectronic devices is required for the position.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to work with a wide variety of lab members in a team environment.
