Responsibilities
Essential Functions

1. Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess children's functional abilities, developmental skills, and participation in daily activities. Evaluations will include, but are not limited to, assessment of sensory processing, fine motor skills, executive function skills, visual-motor integration, coordination, self-care abilities, play skills, and functional participation.
2. Train and supervise occupational therapy practicum students and train other University trainees of a variety of disciplines.
3. Assist in directing or working within agency program and support areas, as assigned by the UDAC Director.
4. Educate the patient and their parents about the findings of the evaluation; also educate about the goals of the occupational therapy program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention and other related information.
5. Provide documentation of patient care according to established criteria.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Required
Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Utah.

• Experience with program development and outreach consultation.
• Experience working with children and infants with disabilities.
• Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
