Presents related information to the community for recruitment purposes or to other research professionals in a variety of settings.

Mentors and trains new and subordinate employees.

Helps determine personnel required to complete the trial and develop the timeline for trial completion. Reviews study-related data to ensure compliance with the study protocol.

Prepares emergency use report.

Manages pharmacokinetic collection and storage.

Relates lab results to PI and sponsor.

Ensures appropriate maintenance and calibration of equipment.

May perform bedside care.

Clinical Trial Leadership

1. Primary clinical coordinator assigned to the ICU trial.
2. Anticipate operational challenges and independently develop practical solutions to maintain study success.
3. Coordinate participant visits, procedures, laboratory collections, and follow-up, including screening and recruitment.
4. Maintain accurate source documentation and research records in accordance with GCP, FDA, HIPAA, and IRB requirements.
5. Develops and maintains all study regulatory requirements and logs.
6. Assist with IRB submissions.
7. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, sponsor requirements, and federal regulations.

RN license in the state of Utah plus two years related experience required. Depending on area of assignment, CCRP, ACRP-CRC, SOCRA-CCRP certification may be required. Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. . Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
