Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member. This position will be at our Children's Hospital Colorado location at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and/or System of Care sites. Developmental Pediatrics provides a people-first, strength-based, neurodiverse affirming approach to developmental assessment, management, and intervention for children and youth with a wide array of developmental and behavioral challenges.
The Psychologist will provide neurodevelopmental evaluations, clinical behavioral assessment and intervention for children with developmental behavioral conditions including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, neurogenetic conditions, and developmental behavioral disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of direct clinical services to children with neurodevelopmental and developmental-behavioral conditions, including psychological and behavioral interventions utilizing evidence-based individual and group treatment modalities, including ABA-informed approaches as appropriate.
- Conduct individual and, when appropriate, interdisciplinary assessments addressing developmental, behavioral, and adaptive functioning concerns.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate actively in the education and training of psychology externs, interns, or psychology postdoctoral fellows, as well as medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to program development and clinical innovation within Developmental Pediatrics and affiliated programs.
- Demonstrate scholarly interest and activity consistent with an academic medical center appointment.
