Position Summary

Position functions as a Psychometrician in the clinical setting and this person will perform memory testing on the patient before the patient sees the provider in the clinic. When the psychometrician is not testing they assist with office tasks such as phones, scheduling testing such as MRIs, CT scans, etc.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administers psychological tests, observing and evaluation patient performance and making necessary changes in procedure.
• Scores and interprets tests, enters results in computer.
• Copies, delivers and files copies of tests to physician and division.
• Schedules test appointment times, explains procedure of testing to patients and maintains files needed.
• Researches pertinent articles for appropriate staff.
• Retrieves previous patients' tests when needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Psychology or related field.
• Basic Life Support certification (Online Basic Life Support certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the Basic Life Support requirements).

Salary Range

$19.21 - $28.85 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
