PT - Culinary Lab Technician
Summary of Function:
The Culinary Lab Technician supports the instructional, operational, and administrative functions of the culinary program by maintaining laboratory environments, assisting with curriculum and assessment alignment, coordinating supplies and equipment, and supporting faculty and students in hands-on learning experiences. This role helps ensure culinary labs operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with institutional and industry standards.
Typical Duties:
- Serves Students. Responsible for the preparation of classes; assists faculty and students. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success, program quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and maintenance of culinary lab supplies, equipment, and instructional resources. Ensure laboratory operations are safe, organized, and conducive to an effective learning environment.
- Assist with the development, organization, and evaluation of assessments, assignments, and instructional materials. Provide instructional and operational support for culinary laboratory courses and hands-on learning activities.
- Cleans and maintains the kitchen and associated areas. Makes sure all equipment is operational and reports broken equipment or issues in a timely manner.
- Supports and participates in strategic planning initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the industry or completion of a Culinary Arts certificate or degree.

- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may be considered
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Arizona Driver's License or Equivalent
