PT POOL - Earth Science and Geology Instructor
Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) is one of the most established districts in the state and has been in operation for nearly 50 years. Located in the heart of Orange County, it serves a population of more than 700,000 residents in various communities. The district includes Santiago Canyon College and Santa Ana College, among other centers.
RSCCD's student population is diverse, with approximately 55,537 students, and is a proud Hispanic Serving Institution. The mission is to integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice into all aspects of student academics and employee relations.
The position is for a part-time, temporary instructor in Earth Science and Geology for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes, maintaining records, and participating in department activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competency and support diverse student populations.
Minimum qualifications include a Master's in geology, geophysics, earth sciences, or related fields, or equivalent qualifications as specified.
