About the Position
The Division seeks to establish a roster of eligible candidates for part-time, temporary, hourly teaching positions during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters as needed... [details on ideal candidate, cultural competency, etc.]

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
(Applicants must meet one of the following):
- Possess from an accredited institution: Master's in geology, geophysics, earth sciences, meteorology, oceanography, or paleontology OR
- Bachelor's in geology AND Master's in geography, physics, or geochemistry, OR
- Possess a valid California Community College credential, OR
- The equivalent...
Equivalencies that the Department accepts as valid: Bachelor's in geology OR Bachelor's in earth science... AND Master's in environmental science...

Additional Qualifications
- Experience in teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds...
- A working knowledge of and experience with student learning outcomes and assessment.
