Public Map Communications Coordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)
The Public Map research project is seeking applications for a part-time Communications Coordinator.
This engaging project is exploring how to make planning consultation more inclusive across the UK. The first phase of the pilot project was carried out in Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Mon and has been expanded into Wrexham, the Taff Valley and Cambridge for phase two. There is a potential for additional sites to join. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as the programme embarks on phase 2 of the research. For more details see www.publicmap.org.
The project is run by the Public Map team in the Department of Architecture, University of Cambridge in conjunction with Cardiff, Wrexham and Bangor Universities as well as a large range of other partners. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Welsh (written and spoken).
The Communications Coordinator will manage the efficient running of Public Map's external communications in order to ensure messages to external stakeholders are engaging, professional, consistent and in line with the projects business development strategy. The role is based in the Public Map's offices in Llangefni on Ynys Mon.
On rare occasions weekend and evening work may be necessary, as will travel to Public Map sites across Wales and England.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 August 2027 in the first instance.
