KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a robust research program in foundational lung biology areas.
- Embrace and apply AI and genomic methodologies to enhance and diversify research.
- Strengthen the division's comprehensive understanding of lung cell lineages, including epithelial, endothelial, mesenchymal, and immune cells.
- Provide mentorship to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students, enriching the academic and research environment.
- Effectively manage research funding and contribute to the division's resource development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD and/or MD with significant experience in lung biology or a closely related field applicable to lung biology.
- Established track record of research funding and significant publications.
- Demonstrated mentorship and research training experience.
- Interest in integrating AI and genomics into lung biology research
