OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Purchasing and Contracts Analyst. The Incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing complex contracts, leases and insurance documents; with specific responsibility for implementing purchasing activities in compliance with mandated requirements; overseeing daily activities; and responding to a range of inquiries regarding processes or bid status. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION:

Type of position: Full-Time - Monday - Friday

Salary: Range CL-45

$37.33 - $46.68 Hourly

$6,470 - $8,091 Monthly (based on 40 hours per week)

Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($37.33 per hour) or B ($39.47 per hour) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination equivalent to:

EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in business administration with coursework in purchasing, contracts, or acquisitions.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in public or private sector purchasing and contracts field.

Purchasing and contracts experience, specializing in public works, including one year of lead responsibility preferred.
