The Computer Science and Engineering department in the School of Engineering anticipates hiring multiple Readers for the below courses for Academic Year 2025-2026:

• CSE 005: Intro Computer Applications
• CSE 015: Discrete Mathematics
• CSE 019: Introduction to Computing
• CSE 022: Intro to Programming
• CSE 024: Advanced Programming
• CSE 030: Data Structures
• CSE 031: Computer Organization and Assembly Language
• CSE 100: Algorithm Design and Analysis
• CSE 107: Introduction to Digital Image Processing
• CSE 108: Full Stack Web Development
• CSE 111: Database Systems
• CSE 120: Software Engineering
• CSE 160: Computer Networks
• CSE 168: Distributed Software Systems
• CSE 176: Introduction to Machine Learning
• CSE 180: Introduction to Robotics
• CSE 185: Introduction to Computer Vision
• Other courses as needed

The Reader will be responsible for grading homework, quizzes, exams as needed under the supervisor of the instructor. The position will require up to a maximum of 18 hours per week.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

The Reader will have successfully completed the course or related course they are appointed to as a Reader with a grade of 'B' or higher and be in good standing at the University with at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average (GPA). Readers will usually be graduate students; but qualified undergraduate students may be employed, especially when graduate students are not available. Professional readers, not enrolled as students, may be employed to meet special needs, but only on an hourly basis.
