Job Description

Working Title: Records Management Part Time Work Study

Position Status: Part Time

Department: Record Management

General Summary: Temporary, part-time employment to assist Records Department with general office duties; 15-18 hours per week; Monday through Thursday and some Fridays.

Specific Position Duties: Answering phones and greeting students with a heavy emphasis on customer service. Supporting Records Department staff in scanning and link documents to student records. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in line with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Checking and processing mail. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Enrolled at Odessa College with a minimum GPA of 2.0, unless first semester of enrollment, and eligible for work-study funds.
