Recruitment Marketing Manager
Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is seeking a creative and strategic Recruitment Marketing Manager to join our Student Recruitment Marketing and Admissions team. You’ll lead subject‑based marketing activity, driving effective recruitment campaigns that support LJMU’s ambitious student recruitment targets. This role currently supports the Schools of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Science, Biological and Environmental Science and Sport and Exercise Science.
In this varied and fast‑paced role, you will:
- Develop and deliver marketing plans for allocated subject areas
- Create engaging multi‑channel campaigns in collaboration with our digital agency
- Produce high‑quality content across web, email, social media, print and video
- Support institutional and subject-based recruitment events
- Use market insight and analytics to shape impactful marketing activity
- Build strong relationships with academic and professional services colleagues
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
- Excellent copywriting skills and strong attention to detail
- Confidence working across digital platforms, analytics tools and CMS
- The ability to innovate, problem‑solve and manage multiple priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
You’ll play a key role in showcasing our courses, shaping applicant engagement and ensuring LJMU stands out in a competitive market.
