"Registered Nurse - PACU (35 Hours)"

Position Summary/ Department Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Boston PACU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recovers pediatric patients from surgery/procedure.
• Prepares pediatric patients for surgery on the day of surgery/procedure.
• Working collaboratively in a family-centered environment.
• Performs developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Working primarily 10-hour shifts, rotating day start times.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience.
• PACU/Critical Care experience preferred.
• Post-surgical care experience preferred.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
