Registered Nurse - PED Neurology MB

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions including In Basket and Pool management, to support timely, safe, and effective care delivery. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Under general supervision, guided by the policies and procedures of the Medical Center and Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the physician staff and administrative management, the Pediatric Neurology Nurse works independently to coordinate the clinical care for Pediatric Brain Center clinic patients.

The Pediatric Neurology Nurse will utilize a high level of clinical knowledge to screen patient referrals, coordinate patient evaluations to ensure efficient patient care flow, provide patient education, and improve health literacy and adherence to the treatment plan. The nurse serves as a clinical liaison between families, providers, inpatient teams, and external partners to ensure continuity of care across settings.

The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).
