Repository Services Officer
The Position
The Australian National University Library is seeking a Repository Services Officer to support the delivery of library services across the University. Working within the Client Services team this role is based at the ANU Library offsite storage facility in Symonston – the ANU Print Repository and is responsible for assisting with the delivery of services for researchers and library users, maintaining the collection and preparing and processing material for document supply. A close working relationship is necessary with relevant library staff in the branches on-campus. This position, at times, maybe required to work on the Acton campus
The Person
We're looking for an enthusiastic Repository Services Officer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, client focused services to the ANU community. In this role you will be required to work in a small team, supporting user queries, while also undertaking collection work and projects to support the maintenance of the vast and unique collections of resources held in the print repository. High attention to detail, adaptability and flexibility, alongside strong communications skills, experience with library systems and a team-oriented approach are essential. Knowledge of library services and relevant experience will be highly regarded.
