Research Analyst

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Analyst for the Effective School Practice Center. The primary role of this grant-funded position is to advance the Center's research agenda through the production of high-quality written scholarship and research outputs.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Leads the writing and development of technical reports, policy briefs, grant proposals, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Synthesizes complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, compelling narratives tailored to academic, policy, and practitioner audiences.
• Provides leadership in project conceptualization and development, fieldwork implementation and management, and sophisticated data analysis.
• Writes technical reports and peer-reviewed publications.
• Researches new proposals and secure contracts for grant-funded research.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's of Arts or Science in education, sociology, statistics or related field and minimum of five years of experience in applied research and evaluation in an academic setting.
