ANNOUNCES VACANCY
For the appointment to:
The temporarily vacated associate position of research and teaching assistant in Social Sciences, field of Psychology, at the Section of General Psychology of the Department of Psychology, for a full-time, fixed-term position – 1 employee (m/f).
The applicants need to enclose:
- a signed CV (maximum 1 page long)
- a certificate from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) containing information on the applicant from their database, i.e., electronic employment record
- a copy of a certificate proving educational qualifications or the obtained academic title
- bibliography and offprints of articles pertinent to the appointment, and a detailed presentation of scientific, teaching, and professional activities
- a certificate stating that the applicant’s diploma acquired abroad has been approved by the Croatian authorities
- proof of citizenship; foreign citizens need to enclose a certificate of proficiency in the Croatian language (advanced level)
The CV, bibliography, and information on scientific, teaching, and professional activities must be submitted electronically (on a USB flash drive).
Conditions:
Applicants (m/f) are expected to meet the requirements prescribed by the Science and Higher Education Act (as published in the Official Gazette, no. 119/22) and hold a university master’s degree in the field of psychology.

- productive knowledge of the English language in speaking and writing
In applying for the vacancy, the applicants are in utmost accordance with collecting, using and further processing the data for vacancy filling purposes conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, as the head of personal data collection and as prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Act (as published in the Official Gazette, no. 106/12) and the General EU Directive 2016/679.
The applicants who claim the right of priority in employment have to submit the prescribed documentation, which serves as evidence of the advantage they claim. The evidence presented can be taken into consideration only under equal conditions. The applicants who claim priority in employment under special regulations are required, in accordance with those regulations, to submit the prescribed documentation.
The deadline for submitting the application is 30 days, starting from the day the vacancy announcement was last published in the Official Gazette.
