Research Assistant/Associate in Political Psychology (Part Time, Fixed Term)

We are looking to recruit a part-time Research Assistant or Research Associate in Political Psychology for 4 months, working 8 hours a week. The position will be based in the Cambridge Psychology Department.

The post holder will be supervised by Lee de-Wit and Jens Madsen (at the LSE), on a Templeton World Charity Foundation grant (Perceptions of source independence and polarization: integrating computational modelling, cross cultural analysis, and experimental psychology to understand and counter polarization). The post holder will be responsible for developing survey questions, recruiting participants, assisting in piloting studies and designing stimuli.

The successful candidate will either be completing their PhD, or have recently completed their PhD in a related field. If you do not have your PhD, you will be appointed as a Research Assistant and you will be promoted to Research Associate upon completion.

The post holder should have experience in experimental design, survey development, advanced statistical and modelling skills. The post holder should also have experience in preregistering studies and have some experience with large (N<1000) datasets in line with open science practices.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 4 months.
