About the role

This is an opportunity to work as a research assistant on the Optimising a person-centred outcome measure to support family carers of people with dementia (IPOS-Dem Family) project. The project develops the Integrated Palliative care Outcome Scale for Dementia (IPOS-Dem) to empower family carers.

You will join the team at King’s College London, working with a multidisciplinary team. Duties include recruiting participants, conducting qualitative interviews, facilitating workshops, analyzing data, and disseminating results through publications and social media.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), fixed term until 31st July 2026. Location: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days at Denmark Hill campus.

About You

Essential criteria: A degree in health or social sciences (e.g., first or 2.1), experience in facilitating research involvement for people with dementia and carers, experience in qualitative research methods, excellent communication skills, ability to work flexibly in a team, strong organizational skills, and time management.

Desirable criteria: Postgraduate qualification, experience in inclusive co-production, engaging with patient groups, and publications.
