"Research Assistant (Senior) (CQM/BC)"

Job Description

Perform a variety of functions related to research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) or his/her designate (a senior member of the team):

• Conduct methodology research on reinforcement learning, dynamic treatment regimes, contextual bandit algorithms, causal inference, and novel clinical trials (e.g., SMART, MRT, adaptive) with applications in digital health.
• Develop relevant statistical software.
• Analyse and interpret collected data and prepare oral presentations and/or written reports/ scientific manuscripts for publication.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science (Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence), Mathematics or related quantitative fields.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Possess solid background in statistics, linear algebra, statistical computing, and machine learning.
• A strong team player who is open-minded, energetic, highly motivated and can work collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
