Research Associate (Bioprocess and Biotechnology)

We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) as a Research Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research projects, with duties including (but not limited to) project administration, progress monitoring, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research teams and projects to achieve defined objectives and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Conceive and develop novel research ideas to push the frontiers of biotechnology and bioprocesses.
- Oversee and monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time.
- Engage, manage, and liaise with stakeholders, including funding agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students, while contributing to grant proposal preparation and research publications.
Job Requirements:
- The individual is expected to possess at least a Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in biotechnology or bioprocesses related work is highly favorable.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
