Research Associate
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, J-PAL North America, to help reduce poverty by ensuring policy is informed by scientific evidence. Research Associates provide research management support on impact evaluations on a range of topics selected through J-PAL North America's funding initiatives and also help the Research team draw lessons from the implementation and analysis of evaluations and translate these lessons into generalizable best practices, protocols, or training materials. Research Associates also support the development of resources and training programs that could contribute to the success of new academics who are beginning to work on RCTs.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's in economics, public policy, statistics or a related field; 2 years of relevant experience, which may include experience gained through relevant internships or policy/research work; demonstrated training in statistics and quantitative methods as well as advanced writing skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences; strong project management skills and attention to detail.
