We are seeking a motivated and personable researcher to join our multidisciplinary research team, evaluating the Nursery Milk Scheme in England.
The project is funded by NIHR and led by Sheffield Hallam University where you will be based.
The role will involve the day-to-day management of our study, recruiting early years settings and families, collecting and analysing dietary data, qualitative data and other data, as required, and writing journal articles and reports for different audiences.
We are looking for someone with a PhD (or equivalent), experienced in collecting, managing and analysing dietary data.
The role would suit someone with an interest in early years food provision, the diets of young children, dietary assessment methods and/or the evaluation of nutrition policies and practices. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the early years nutrition agenda.
We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
If you are, or have been, a recent member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) directly prior to joining us, you can choose to opt out of the TPS and remain in the USS. Please contact the Pensions team to discuss options available.
The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international applicants in this role; this will depend on a number of factors specific to the individual applicant.
We welcome applications for job-share, part-time and flexible working arrangements.
