We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc with an expertise in proteomics to join our biological mass spectrometry research group in the School of Biological Sciences, University of Manchester, UK.

The Trost Lab is a leading proteomics laboratory that takes biological questions from discovery to molecular functional analysis, particularly in innate immunity, infection biology and drug discovery. We bring together expertise in cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, drug discovery, and mass spectrometry, and students and staff are encouraged to collaborate closely to make the most of each other’s skills. We are an inclusive lab that has welcomed staff and students from over 27 countries. The candidate will have proven experience in running and maintaining mass spectrometry systems, have experience in proteomics and have good data analysis skills in R. The candidate will need to be able to collaborate closely with other researchers but also be able to drive their own research questions.

Applicants must hold, or be about to obtain, a PhD degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, biology or a related field.
