The University of Manchester seeks to appoint a two-year, full time Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Lincoln Theological Institute, tenable from 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2028. The Lincoln Theological Institute for the Study of Religion and Society (LTI), a national and international centre of expertise in the theological study of religion and society, promotes theological research and study into a variety of ethical, pastoral, social and ecclesial issues. Since 2003, the Institute has been based in the Department of Religions & Theology in the School of Arts, Languages & Cultures at The University of Manchester. Its present Director is Prof. Peter Scott. The post holder will design and execute a research project consonant with LTI’s aims and thereby enhance the Institute’s research profile.
