Essential Job Duties: To develop and run codes, and analyze results of molecular-level simulations of systems containing peptides and small molecules. Prepare publications. The position will also assist in the development of new teaching materials in chemical engineering thermodynamics.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday between 8 am and 5 pm.

Other Work/Responsibilities: Preparing manuscripts for publication. Assist in preparation of problems for textbook on undergraduate thermodynamics

Minimum Experience/Education: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering

Department Required Skills: Ability to write discontinuous molecular dynamics codes with the PRIME20 force field, analyze the results and prepare scientific articles for publication

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: 5 years of graduate level experience in performing coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulation.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $25/hr
