The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) in the Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst to support health policy research on the Johns Hopkins Drug Supply Chain Data Dashboard. ... The Research Data Analyst will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect data and generate reports and models.
- Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
- Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.
- Conduct statistical analyses using standard and statistical software packages.
- Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings.
- Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.
- May engage in other research related responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
In addition: Support the development of dashboards, calculations, and reports; Support the development and tuning of machine learning models; Integrate and harmonize complex regulatory, manufacturing, and trade datasets; Support the development of infrastructure for cleaning and processing data; Mine various data resources for development of key metrics; Perform error analysis and suggest and implement improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
- Four years of relevant quantitative research and analytics experience, with at least two of those years including complex programming experience.
