This new full-time post is available from no earlier than 1st November 2025 on a fixed term basis until 31st October 2026, within Research Services. We are open to applications from those looking for a job share or less hours. This is a time limited post of 12 months – starting no earlier than 1st November 2025.
Summary of the role: This role is within the Research Development and Management pillar of the Research Services Directorate, which provides local delivery of support to academics across the full research project lifecycle. This particular position will be aligned to the Health and Life Sciences Cluster, working closely with academics within our Medical School and Biosciences disciplines to support and enhance research grant funding, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in areas such as healthcare, biomedical sciences, and life sciences.
Main purpose of the role: To provide research development and management support and advice to academics across the research project lifecycle from idea to impact, supporting both the research development and financial elements. This includes identifying funding opportunities, coordinating bid development and supporting live projects and post project activities. This role will directly support standard to high risk/complex projects.
