Job Description
To design and fabricate a novel biomimetic honeycomb composite material that synergistically integrates efficient electromagnetic wave absorption, superior thermal conductivity, and hierarchical structural control for advanced multifunctional applications in electromagnetic shielding and thermal management. The detailed work includes:
- Establish a precise fabrication methodology to construct long-range ordered honeycomb architectures through phase separation technology.
- Reveal the intrinsic mechanisms governing the electromagnetic wave absorption and thermal conduction properties through structural design.
- Realize hierarchical structural decoupling via dual-network engineering to break the trade-off between mechanical robustness, wave absorption, and thermal conductivity.
- Investigate additive manufactured (e.g. DIW 3D-printed) structures.
- Conduct research in microstructure engineering for thermally conductive microwave absorber
- Collaborate with collaborators to deliver the project
Qualifications
- With PhD degree
- Strong research experience in electromagnetic metamaterials
- Strong ability in materials characterizations
