Research Fellow (Materials Engineering, Additive Manufacturing)
Job Description
The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct 4D metal printing design and control.
The job scope of this position is:
- Conducting literature reviews
- Planning and implementing experiments and simulations
- Writing progress reports and research papers
- Other lab activities
Qualifications
- PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive research experience in metallurgy, mechanical properties, and additive manufacturing is required
- Research experience with nitinol or other shape memory alloys is favourable
- Good attitude, self-motivated, good team player
- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
