About the job:
The post holder will be an active member of the School of Social Sciences Education and Social Work (SSESW) and the METIUS Project (Mobilsing Evidence Through AI and User Informed Synthesis) funded by the ESRC. You will contribute to the Education Work Package within the METIUS Project, and the development of a living evidence synthesis portal in Education.
About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- An upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) or a Masters degree in Education or other social science discipline.
- Have or be about to obtain a PhD in a relevant subject
- Substantial quantitative research experience working on a project that relates to education.
- Experience in conducting advanced quantitative data analysis, using SPSS and/or Stata
- Ability to develop a high-quality publication record that is REF returnable
